Adversity Tracker

GM command panel for the shared NPC Adversity pool, pacing controls, and story pressure.

Adversity

0

Adversity

The GM's shared resource pool, spent on behalf of every Villain, Foe, Minion, and Extra.

Start a story to seed the pool at 1 Adversity per Hero.

Setup

Add Heroes, then start a new story.

Starting a story seeds the Adversity pool at 1 per Hero, unlocks the rest of the tracker, and enables Villainy for the new story.

Set how many Hero player characters are in the story. New Story seeds 1 Adversity per Hero.

New Story

Seeds the pool at 1 Adversity per Hero, clears the once-per-story Villainy gate, and begins Story 1 / Issue 1 / Scene 1.

Use this to initialize the tracker.

Reset Adversity Tracker?

This wipes the pool, activity log, and all counters back to Issue 1 · Scene 1 · Story 1. The Villainy gate will also be cleared. This action cannot be undone.
